Welcome to the Battle of the Bands competition ("Event") hosted by [Your Organization/Venue Name]. By participating in this Event, all bands, performers, and associated individuals agree to abide by the following terms and conditions.
1.1. All participating bands must register via the official submission link by the specified deadline.
1.2. Each band must consist of at least two members. Solo performers are not eligible unless otherwise stated.
1.3. Participants must be at least 18 years of age or have written consent from a parent or guardian.
2.1. All performances must primarily consist of original music. One cover per set is permitted but must be a unique interpretation.
2.2. Each band will be assigned a set performance time. Exceeding the time limit may result in disqualification.
2.3. Bands are required to provide their own instruments. The venue will supply standard sound equipment and backline, if applicable.
3.1. Bands will not receive monetary payment or other compensation for their participation in this competition.
3.2. The competition is an opportunity for exposure, networking, and the chance to win the designated prizes as outlined in Section 6.
4.1. A non-refundable entry fee of $10 must be paid upon submission to confirm participation.
4.2. Failure to pay the entry fee by the deadline will result in removal from the competition lineup.
5.1. The competition will consist of 5 rounds, culminating in a final performance.
5.2. Judging criteria include musicality, stage presence, audience engagement, and originality.
5.3. Fan voting may influence progression in early rounds but is subject to verification by the organizers.
5.4. All decisions made by the judges and organizers are final and binding.
6.1. Prizes will be awarded to the winning band(s) as announced prior to the Event.
6.2. Prizes are non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded.
6.3. Winners may be required to sign a release form to claim their prizes.
7.1. The venue and organizers are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage incurred during the Event.
7.2. All participants must conduct themselves respectfully toward other bands, staff, and the audience.
7.3. Any inappropriate or unprofessional behavior may result in immediate disqualification.
8.1. By participating, bands grant the organizers the right to record and photograph performances for promotional purposes.
8.2. Bands retain rights to their original music but agree to allow the organizers to use performance footage and music in Event-related promotions.
9.1. The organizers reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the Event in case of unforeseen circumstances.
9.2. Participants will be notified of any changes as soon as possible.
10.1. By registering for the Event, all participants confirm they have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
